Wilfred Santiago is an American cartoonist, graphic novelist and illustrator, creator of MICHAEL JORDAN: Bull on Parade (2014) a New York Times Bestseller, the critically acclaimed biography, 21: The Story of Roberto Clemente (2011), one of Library Journal's 10 best graphic novels of 2011 and THUNDERBOLT: An American Tale Vol.1 (2019)

His work has been featured in The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Little-Brown Books, Chicago Tribune, Dutton Books, Paste Magazine and Fantagraphics Book among others.

In the early 90’s Wilfred settled in NYC where he began his professional career at Milestone Media. He now lives somewhere in the Midwest, among snakes, foxes and coyotes.
